Spicy Grilled Fish in Yoghurt



Serves 4



  • 2 large onions
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 cup natural yoghurt
  • 1 tbspn tomato paste
  • 2 tspns hot English mustard
  • 1 tspn garam masala
  • 1 tspn ground cumin
  • 1 tspn ground coriander
  • 1 tspn salt
  • 1.5 kg fish (firm fleshed)


Method



Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag and combine thoroughly. Add fish and marinate overnight or for at least 4 hours.

Preheat a grill to medium and grease thoroughly. Grill fish for 5-8 minutes on each side, when cooked fish should be soft inside and brown on top.

Serve with salad, vegetables and/or rice.
